If what you need isn’t here, call us on 505-396-9196. A person actually answers.
Getting started
Not at all, and most customers aren't. You can leave a key, give us a gate or door code, or arrange to let us in and head out. Whatever you choose, we record it on your account so you only explain it once. If you'd rather be there, that's completely fine too.
Yes — we arrive with everything needed, including vacuums, cloths and products. If you'd prefer we use something specific because of an allergy, a sensitivity, or a surface that needs particular care, leave it out and tell us in your request. We'd rather use your product than damage your countertop.
Yes, and they usually do. Just tell us what to expect — a dog that bolts for an open door, a cat that hides, a bird that shouldn't be near aerosols. We'll work around them. If a pet is genuinely anxious or protective, a closed room with a note on the door makes the visit easier for everyone.
Pricing
By the size of the property, its current condition, how often we come, which tasks you want, how far we travel, and any add-ons you choose. Condition matters more than most people expect — a three-bedroom house cleaned monthly and one that hasn't been touched in a year are genuinely different jobs.
No, and we won't pretend otherwise. What you see during the quote request is a preliminary range based on what you've told us. A person reviews your answers and photos and sends you a firm quote afterwards. If we can't do the job for the number we gave you, we say so before we start — not after.
Photos and privacy
Because a questionnaire can't show us baked-on grease or a shower that needs an hour of scrubbing, and guessing badly means either overcharging you or arriving with too little time. Photos are the single biggest reason a quoted price stays the price. They're optional — but they help.
They're stored privately and can only be opened by our staff while preparing your quote and doing the work. They are never public, never posted, and never used in advertising without asking you separately and specifically. You can delete them yourself from your account at any time, and we automatically delete them a set period after the job is finished.
Scheduling
Pick up clothes, toys, dishes and paperwork so we spend our time cleaning surfaces rather than relocating your belongings. Secure any pet that gets anxious around strangers. Point out anything fragile or off-limits. That's it — you don't need to clean before we clean.
Yes, and for recurring customers that's what we aim for by default. Someone who already knows your home works faster and notices what's different. We can't promise it through illness or holidays, but we'll tell you in advance when it changes.
Weekly, every two weeks, or every four. Recurring visits cost less per clean because we're maintaining rather than catching up. The first visit is often priced higher — it establishes the baseline everything after it maintains. You can pause, skip or cancel from your account.
Payment
Card payments online through your account, and cash or check in person. A deposit is due when you accept your quote, and the balance is charged after the work is finished. You'll get a receipt for every payment.
No. Our pricing is what we need to do the job properly and pay our people fairly. Tips are always welcome and always go to the cleaner, but nobody will think less of you for not leaving one.
Policies
Cancel or reschedule free of charge up to the cutoff shown on your booking. Inside that window a late-cancellation fee applies, because the slot is usually too late to fill. If we arrive and can't get in, a lockout fee applies. Life happens — talk to us and we'll be reasonable.
We don't do exterior windows above ground level, carpet steam extraction, pest control, mold remediation, structural repair, or hauling away trash and furniture. We also don't move heavy furniture or climb above a two-step ladder — insurance and backs both have limits.
Safety and exclusions
No. The name is a joke; the service is ordinary cleaning. Grime Scene Cleaners provides conventional residential, commercial, organization and move-related cleaning. We do not provide crime-scene, trauma, blood, bodily-fluid, needle, infectious-waste, hazardous-material, mold-remediation or other biohazard cleanup services. If you need that kind of work, it requires a specially licensed and equipped company — tell us what you're facing and we'll point you in the right direction.
